Sr. Lucille Thibodeau, More and more we hear stories about all kinds of animals in the news. Sadly, too many of these stories are about vulnerability and cruelty.

10 What do the Gospels tell us about Jesus and animals? What have saints said about animals and done for them. Why has there been a narrowing of concern for animals for hundreds of years in our Christian tradition? What do some well-known Christians, such as Pope Francis, tell us about our responsibilities towards animals? After looking at these questions, we will close the day with a prayer service for these creatures of God and the people who care for them. Cost: $50 (includes $30 registration fee).
