Courses that satisfy the Oral Communication requirement include SPC1017, ENC2300 or LIT2480. If a Behavioral Science course is selected from the State Core, a Social Science course must be selected from the MDC Core. Note 5: Effective Fall 2014 Foreign Language is an AA degree graduation requirement. Requirement is 8 credit hours or equivalent. students can satisfy requirement with proof of proficiency via CLEP or two consecutive years of successful, foreign language completion in high school. A student whose native language is not English is exempt, provided the student demonstrates proficiency in his/her native language.
