Staff Policy AFL PD / PO 03 Version -4- Staff Policy The details of the Staff Policy followed in the organization are given below 1. Work Environment All Employees are provided a workstation (of required configuration ) along with internet connection The facilities provided to the employee includes table, chair, fan (Where applicable) and adequate lighting arrangements Dust free air-conditioned environment is provided for all the employees 2.
4 Recruitments and Selection Details pertaining to Recruitments and Selection are given in the HR Administration Manual. 3. Training Details pertaining to training programs and other related information are given in the Training Policy. 4. Dress Code Staff members must appear neat, clean, and appropriately dressed at all times, for a business or professional environment It is required that men wear collared shirts, neat Pants with Shirt tucked in and formal shoes Ladies are to wear Saris or Churidhars on all business days Jeans and sweatpants are not allowed on business days Clothing for all members must be non-distracting in length and fit Semi formal is allowed only on last working day of the week.
5 Staff Policy AFL PD / PO 03 Version -5- Clothing that is disruptive, provocative, revealing, indecent, vulgar, obscene or profane should be totally avoided Dresses, shirts, and blouses that have cutouts or see-through elements should not be worn 5. Leave Information Details pertaining to Leave and Holidays are given in the HR Administration Manual. 6. Medical Information Details pertaining to Medical Information are given in the HR Administration Manual.

Code of Conduct The Employee shall carry out his work with due care and diligence in accordance with the requirements of the employer The Employee shall endeavor to complete the work undertaken on time and as per the allocated budget and shall inform their Superior if any schedule / cost overrun is foreseen The Employee shall not disclose / authorize or use for personal gain / benefit, confidential information acquired from a third party during the course of professional practice, except with the prior written permission of the employer The Employee shall not misrepresent or withhold information on the capabilities of products, systems or services with which they are concerned or take advantage of the lack of knowledge or inexperience of others The Employee shall not, except where specifically so instructed.
7 Handle clients or place contracts or orders in connection with the work for which they are engaged when acting as an independent consultant The Employee shall uphold the reputation of the profession and shall seek to improve professional standards through participation in the development, use and enforcement of the professional standards and shall avoid any action that will adversely affect the good standing of the profession Staff Policy AFL PD / PO 03 Version -6- The Employee shall encourage and support fellow members in their professional development and where possible.
8 Provide opportunities for the professional development of new entrants to the Profession The Employee shall not make any public statements in their professional capacity unless properly qualified and, where appropriate, authorized to do so, and shall have due regard to the likely consequences of any statement on other persons The Employee shall seek to upgrade their professional knowledge and skill and shall maintain awareness of the latest technological developments, procedures and standards that are relevant to their field, and shall similarly encourage their subordinates to update their skills The Employee shall seek to conform to recognized good practice(s) including quality standards that are in their judgment relevant, and shall similarly encourage their subordinates to conform to recognized good practice(s)
9 The Employee shall only offer to do work or provide a service, which is within their professional competence and shall not claim to have any level of competence, which they do not possess The Employee shall accept professional responsibility for their work and for the work of their subordinates and associates under their direction, and shall not terminate any assignment except for good reason and on reasonable notice The Employee shall avoid any situation that may give rise to a conflict of interest between themselves or their Client and shall make full and immediate disclosure to their Superior if any conflict should occur The Employee shall present clearly to his/her Superior, the consequences to be expected from any deviations proposed in his/her work.
10 If his/her professional planning and/or analytical judgment is overruled by a non-technical authority in cases where he/she is responsible for the technical adequacy of professional programming The Employee shall have no financial interest, direct or indirect, in any materials, supplies, equipment, hardware or commercial software used by his/her employer or in any persons or firms receiving contracts from his/her employer unless he informs his/her employer in advance of the nature of the interest Staff Policy AFL PD / PO 03 Version -7- 8.
