1 ACETAMOX Tablets Composition: Each tablet contains: - Active ingredients: Acetazolamide 250 mg ACETAMOX inhibits carbonic anhydrase enzyme , this inhibition leads to decrease the formation of hydrogen and bicarbonate ion from carbon dioxide and water and reduces the availability of these ions for active transport. Indications: - Actamox is indicated in treatment of glaucoma (open angle or closed angle glaucoma ) in some cases local application of miotics or even beta blocker drugs can be used in addition. Dosage: - One to four Tablets daily as initial dose, the maintenance dose is titerated according to the case of the patient and its response.
2 - Pediatric dose : 8 to 30 mg / kg How Supplied: - Boxes containing 2 strips, 10 Tablets each ( 2 strips x 10 Tablets )
