1 August 22, 2008 Dear Neighbor, The Women s Center is marking 35 years of serving victims of violence, abuse and trauma with a 35th Anniversary Gala on October 16, 2008 at the Hawthorne Country Club. The Gala will include dinner, DJ, dancing, entertainment and historical displays. The 35th Anniversary Gala will be an evening to reflect on the past 35 years and honor the accomplishments of the dedicated and committed volunteers, board members, staff, and community partners who helped mold The Women s Center into the premier social service agency it is today. Best of all, the proceeds help us provide free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and child trauma. We are counting on community partners like you to help maximize the success of this event by purchasing advertising space in our keepsake program book.

2 This book will include a Resource Guide of local nonprofit agencies and services, Historical Timeline and a Business Index of all sponsors and advertisers that people will want to keep and use throughout the year. Event sponsors will receive an ad in the program book, special recognition at the event, and complimentary tickets. In addition, Platinum sponsors may hang a company banner at the event. You will also receive significant exposure for your business, since these commemorative keepsake booklets will also be distributed at special events throughout our 35th Anniversary year. Moreover, our major sponsors receive recognition in all pre-event media information and on our website as caring and philanthropic community partners who are helping work towards a violence-free community.
