2 28 of 21 December 2017 of the Director-General for Budget and Administration of the EEAS on the rules related to traineeships in the delegations of the European Union in particular Article which stipulates that the amount of the grant remains unchanged during the entire traineeship and that this amount is updated once per year taking into account the salaries of the local agents in a specific country, Whereas: (1) The amount of the grant is based on the percentage of 25% of the monthly basic salary of a local agent in Functional Group I in the respective country and its maximum amount is limited to 25% of the basic remuneration for an official at grade AD 5/1.
3 (2) It is necessary to take into consideration the evolution of the basic monthly remuneration of local agents fixed on 1 October 2020, HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS: Article 1 A fixed monthly grant in EUR is paid to the trainees eligible for a traineeship grant under Article of Decision admin (2017)28 of 21 December 2017, according to the country of employment, as indicated in the annex.
