WORKFORCE Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Update and Approval of the WORKFORCE development board s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Phase II Members will receive an update on the WORKFORCE Innovation and Opportunity Act and consider approval of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Phase II. 6. Certification Process for Comprehensive AJCCs under the WORKFORCE Innovation and Opportunity Act Members will receive an update the certification process for the Comprehensive AJCCs. 7. WORKFORCE development board Composition Staff will update the board on their current composition. 8. Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) Disclosure Concerns Members will consider adopting language and amending the Bylaws to address non-compliance issues. 2 10. Program Year 2017-18 Funding Update Staff will update the board on funding for Program Year 2017-18. 11. Youth Committee Chair Update Staff will update Members on the Youth Committee Chair position.

3 12. WORKFORCE development board Bylaws Update Staff will update Members on the WORKFORCE development board s Bylaws. 13. WORKFORCE Innovation and Opportunity Act Performance Goals for Program Year 2017-18 Staff will update Members on the projected Performance Goals. 14. On-Site Visit Report and Scheduling of Next Visit Members will discuss On-Site Visit tour of the Farmworker Program at the Oildale America s Job Center of California and discuss scheduling the next On-Site visit. 15. Legislative Update Staff will update Members on the latest legislative information. 15. Disability Employment Accelerator (DEA) Grant Staff will update the Members on the Grant. 16. Committee Reports The Chairpersons of the various Committees of the WORKFORCE development board (WDB) will provide reports on their recent meetings; Draft Program and Business Services Committee Minutes for September 14, 2017 - Leo Bautista; Draft Youth Committee Minutes for September 13, 2017 - Clare Pagnini; and Draft Executive Committee Minutes for September 28, 2017 - Les Clark.

4 The board will be provided with draft minutes for their review. 17. Director s Report The Director will provide a report to the board including an update on the locations of AJCC Centers. ETR staff will give a presentation on a Client Success story. 18. board Member Comments Members will have an opportunity to make comments, including reports on Economic development Activities in Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties; a Small Business development Center Report and open discussion. 3 19. Miscellaneous Filings Members will review the Status of Subgrantee Monitoring Reports, Status of Subgrantee Audits, Fourth Quarter Enrollment Plan vs. Actual Report, WORKFORCE Innovation and Opportunity Act Fiscal and Procurement Review Final Monitoring Report Program Year 2014-15 dated May 28, 2015, conducted by the Employment development Department, WORKFORCE Innovation and Opportunity Act Final Monitoring Report Program Year 2017-18 dated September 26, 2017, conducted by the Employment development Department, WORKFORCE Innovation and Opportunity Act financial management systems Monitoring report of La Cooperativa Campesina de California programs for Program Year 2014-15, dated August 11, 2015, Drought Temporary Jobs Monitoring Report conducted by La Cooperativa Campesina de California s on February 22, 2016 dated March 4, 2016, PY 2017-18 Grant SUMMARY Update, WORKFORCE development board and Committees Attendance Report, Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties WORKFORCE development board and Committees meeting Schedule Calendar Year 2017.
