9 AALLLL AAPPPPLLIICCAANNTTSS(15+) must pay a $10 non-refundable filing fee. First year members also pay a Health Deposit (p ric e to be determined from percentage of assistance awarded) which will be refu nded after 13 months of conti no us mem bership. This deposit is a one time fee as long as you stay an active member. AASSSSIISSTTAANNCCEE will be g rant ed o n the basis of financ ial need based on household size and total hou sehold gross income. Our subsidy guide chart will be used to det er mine initial eligibility. Depending upo n gross mo nt hly i nc ome or gross annua l income and t he number of household members, the YM CA in Greenfield can offer 20% to 70% off membership fees and program fees for adults.

10 In some instances, an interview will be requir ed prior to the approval of this application. The Y reserves the right to refus e assi stance to any applicant. OONNCCEE AAPPPPRROOVVEEDD,,arrangements will be made for you to pay your share of the membership fee by bank draf t or in 10 mont hly installments paid at the Y Welcome Center. Work trade in exchange for membershi p i s available (subject to available positions) if you are unable to pay the fee. If you decide the membership dues are too high for a Family Membership and you do not want to work trade, please consid er purchasing Yout h Memberships for your children (ages 6 to 14). If you hav e children younger than 6 t hey can qualify for a percentage off the Program Associate class fees.
