Focuses upon Agricultural production management decision-makingtools: budgeting techniques (enterprise, partial, cash flow), balance sheet, incomestatement, cash flow, investment analysis and risk management. Recommended:AGEC 1103 (or ECON 2023), AGEC 2142, and AGME 3413. Principles of Environmental Economics .

Fundamentalsof contract law, torts law, and property law will accompany discussion of majorareas of Agricultural law; acquisition and disposal of farmland; farm tenancies; rightsand limitations in the use and ownership of farmland; water law; environmentalprotection; protection of the productivity of Agricultural land; and the law of sales andsecured transactions in an Agricultural 3523. Environmental and Natural Resources Law. 3 of environmental and natural resources law relevant to agriculture, foodand the environmental sciences; legal principles relating to regulation of water, air,hazardous substances, land, wildlife, livestock, and water rights.

10 Principles of civiland criminal liabilities and other developing legal and regulatory issues relating toagriculture and natural Agricultural Economics (AGEC)AGEC 400V. Special Problems. 1-6 studies and readings conducted under the direct supervision of staffmembers to satisfy the requirements of individual students. May be repeated for upto 6 hours of degree 401V.
