Every fourth breeding Entry enrolled in the same year by the same breeder/nominator may be enrolled at one half price. The discount applies to each submission of at least four entries mailed in the same envelope by the same owner.

This entry is for an unborn foal sired by a Sweepstakes Nominated Sire or out of a Sweepstakes Nominated Dam. All breeding Entries must be enrolled in the year in which they are conceived. A breeding Entry is eligible to win Allocated prize money in any Sweepstakes designated payback class for the life time of that horse. This entry category allows for eligibility to compete in the Regional and National Yearling Sweepstakes Halter classes. Under the live foal guarantee, the breeding Entry fee may be transferred to any following year s unborn foal of any mare under the same ownership, providing a death certificate or statement signed by a veterinarian is submitted. For these purposes, a live foal is defined as a foal which stands and nurses within 30 days of parturition. A new AHA IN-UTERO Foal APPLICATION must be completed and returned with the Dead Foal Credit Voucher when you nominate a future unborn foal or nominate a horse as a Nominated Dam or Nominated Sire using the Dead Foal Credit as payment (Please see current AHA Handbook regarding specific rules and Deferred Billing agreement requirements).

If the breeding Entry was submitted on a Deferred Billing agreement , the balance owning must be satisfied before any consideration of a credit will be made (ABSC 11/93). A late fee of $100 will be assessed to a breeding Entry postmarked/electronic transaction dated from January 1 through February 15. US & CANADIAN HALTER FUTURITY (Deferred Billing option is NOT available.): The nomination fee per country is $30. An additional $45 processing fee is assessed for each country entered. The National Halter Futurity is a progressive PROGRAM for Arabian colts, fillies and geldings, and Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian fillies and geldings. Unborn foals are entered into the PROGRAM and then renominated each year up until their 3 year old year. 3 year olds that have remained current in the PROGRAM are then eligible to compete in the 3 year old Halter Futurity Classes offered at the and Canadian National Championship Shows.

In the event a breeding does not result in a live foal, upon presentation of a veterinary certificate stating that a mare has not produced a live foal (defined as a foal that stands and nurses within 30 days after parturition) the nominated mare s nomination fee can be applied to the consecutive year s unborn foal out of a mare having the same ownership. A new AHA IN-UTERO Foal APPLICATION must be completed and returned with the Dead Foal Credit Voucher (and the $30 Deceased Foal Replacement fee). A late fee of $100 per horse/per country will be assessed to Halter Futurity nominations postmarked/electronic transaction dated from January 1 through February 15. *Half-Arabians must have DNA type of the horse and the horse s purebred Arabian parent placed on permanent record with the AHA Registry and the horse must have been shown to qualify as an offspring of the stated purebred sire or purebred dam through DNA type testing in order to compete in the Halter Futurity Classes at and Canadian and National Championship Shows.

DNA testing will be done at the owner s expense and must be on file with the AHA office before the horse will be eligible to compete in the Halter Futurity Class. If the DNA is not on file at that time, the horse is ineligible to be shown and all nominations fees will be forfeited. DEAD FOAL CREDIT: In order to receive a Dead Foal Credit, a signed vet statement (on letterhead or official documentation from the veterinarian practice) must be submitted. A Dead Foal Credit Voucher will then be issued (provided all requirements are met). A new entry form and the Credit Voucher must be submitted to the AHA office by the entry deadline when you nominate a future foal using the Dead Foal Credit Voucher as payment. Dead Foal Credits DO NOT automatically rollover to the next year. Nominations postmarked/electronic transaction dated after February 15 will be not be accepted in the Arabian Breeders Sweepstakes or Halter Futurity Programs.
