Airport Cities International Gateways To Regional Economic Development Airport Cities WORLD. CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION (ACE). DALLAS/FORT WORTH INTERNATIONAL. Airport , TEXAS, USA. APRIL 9-11, 2008. HOSTED BY ORGANIZED BY SUPPORTED BY. BOOK EARLY & SAVE $200. DALLAS/FORT WORTH. INTERNATIONAL Airport . Dear Industry Colleague, It is with honor and excitement that I announce Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), in coordination with our partner Insight Media, as host of the 2008 Airport Cities World Conference and Exhibition (ACE 2008). DFW has historically supported ACE World Conference and Exhibition forums as both an exhibitor and presenter in various locations including Frankfurt, Pittsburgh and Hong Kong, and we embrace our selection as key facilitator in this prestigious global forum.

As the host of ACE 2008, we have the unique opportunity to showcase and highlight our dedication to being recognized as a leader in an era of global Airport Cities . We continue our commitment to expanding business efficiencies and growing our Airport beyond simply an intermodal hub for air and ground transportation. This platform will expand our focus and vision for developing tourism, hospitality, entertainment, retail, commerce, just-in-time manufacturing, and cargo and logistics operations. Many of these vital components of an Airport City environment are productively in place, including our award-winning business park and the new luxury Grand Hyatt Hotel in International Terminal D.

The Grand Hyatt at DFW recently received accolades in the travel section of The New York Times in which the headline read The best hotel in town may now be at the Airport indicating that the trend for luxury hotel construction is moving inside the Airport . As DFW moves forward to the next phase of strategic development of over 5,000 acres of land, we are actively engaging the local real estate community, economic development agencies and financial and investment communities to share our enthusiasm and vision. These local leaders will work in partnership to provide the necessary skill, expertise and resources to complete the Airport City reality.

Participation in ACE 2008 is important to me and will provide great benefit to our local region as DFW unites as honorary host of this conference and exhibition. This great conference will provide and equip you with the industry's best ideas and prepare you for the rapidly developing new business model of airports around the globe. Please join me along with my colleagues at DFW, leading professionals from aviation organizations, airports, airlines, architects, real estate developers, economic development agencies, investors, retail and advertising professionals to share our knowledge and experiences in becoming an Airport City. I encourage you to accept a dynamic role in this event by sponsoring, exhibiting and attending the conference and jointly sharing knowledge and experiences with leading professionals from all over the world.

As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to be identified on conference materials, brochures and banners. Your company will be included in press releases, mailings, and recognized at various conference events. Your support will be greatly appreciated as we prepare to showcase the Airport City concept. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest to this exciting and informative conference.
