2 This will allow you to use the Applications as if they were on your local desktop. 4. You will get a publisher warning. Click Connect to continue. a. Do not check Don't ask me again for remote connections from this publisher unless you are on a physically secure PC (such as a non-shared home desktop PC). b. You may be asked to enter your credentials. If so, use your network credentials (enter your username in this format: aitworldwide\username). 5. Once connected, you may choose to auto-hide the status bar by clicking on the thumbtack icon. a. If hidden, the bar will reappear when you move your mouse cursor near it. b. You can also minimize and restore/maximize the Web Desktop to multitask between your Web Desktop and local desktop.

3 C. If you close Web Desktop by clicking the X button, you will be disconnected from the session without logging off. You will automatically be logged off if you do not re- connect within 15 minutes, losing any unsaved files/work. To avoid lost work, it is best to click Start and Log Off properly instead of just closing your Web Desktop. d. You will be logged off automatically if there is no activity for 30 minutes, losing any unsaved files/work. It is best to log off if you will be away for an extended amount of time (such as lunch). This frees up resources for other users. The new Web Desktop includes Microsoft Office 2013 and Skype for Business.
