1 Alphabet picture cards Printing: There are two sets - colour and black and white. The objects are the same but the pictures different. Use either one! These can be printed on ordinary 8 by 11 paper, but if you expect to use them often it is much better to purchase white card or cover stock. This heavier tag comes in several weights. These will be easier to use and will stand up to handling. This card stock will go through most printers. Cut the cards apart on the lines. Ideas for use: - Make sure the child can name the i is insect, j is jet, m is moose and v is vacuum. - Print the Alphabet picture cards , cut them out and then match the picture cards with the lower case letters that begins the word. For exam-ple, match the picture of the apple with the lower case a.
2 - Say the letter sound and have the child find the picture word that matches. - The black and white pictures can be coloured - by you or the child.
