10 Moss Behind the bar at the May 12th Event AMERICAN LEGION post 259, located in CLINTON , Md., recently finished their remodeling project in updating the bar/lounge and bathrooms. But the renovations that took place were met with many unforeseen challenges. Elbert Ed White, post 259 Judge Advocate, oversaw the remodeling project. He is also chairman of the post 's building commission, that began in August 1992. The commission has six members. Most of it is common sense, said White. I was up here every day to make sure things were done. Everything we did from start to finish is in here, he continued, showing a huge file documentation book that contained all work done. The project was initially approved by the post 's board members, the executive committee, and general members in May 2016.
