1 APMT erminalsisoneoftheworld sleadingglobalterminalownersandoperators , ,APMT erminalsiscurrentlyrealizinganimportanti nvestmentinMonrovia, ,trainingandchallengingtheworld , :Job Title: Facility AssistantReports to: Facility Maintenance ManagerPURPOSE This position is responsible: for assisting the Facility Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, developing and directing of the overall operation of facility services; assists in preparation of tender documentation for tendering processes; supervises the execution of facility works and ensure the works conform to the relevant specifications and standard; responsible for all general maintenance activities at the ACCOUNTABILITIES Prepare maintenance schedules together with the rest of the facility maintenance team.

2 Implement maintenance schedules for all civil infrastructures on the terminal. Ensure maintenance works are completed in accordance with design specifications and standards. Recommends and assists in design layouts, cost estimation and contract administration for facility projects as directed by the Facility Maintenance Manager Ensure safety rules and regulations are in place and adhered to by all utility staff, tradesmen and subcontractors (Safety induction, permit to work, etc.) Compile daily reports of ongoing maintenance works, including work hours and productivity.

3 Collect Maintenance requests/need for all infrastructures on the Terminal (quay, buildings, pavement, drainage, electrical, mechanical, etc.) and submit suggestions to the Facility Maintenance Manager. Oversees the maintenance and repair of all buildings, including electricity, plumbing, painting, air conditioning, carpentry and masonry work. Supervise maintenance works for the landscaping, gardening, parking lots, grounds and surroundings In charge of validating work performed by contractor. Ensure quality of material on site. Observe and inspect all work performed for quality and accuracy.

4 Ensure all change orders and modifications are approved before the execution of work. May perform other duty as required by Facility Maintenance QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE 1-2 years of experience as a construction supervisor or facility maintenance supervisor. Requires minimum knowledge on planning and organizational skills. Requires ability to draft and read blue print drawings.
