1 ASFA Tr A d iT i o n o F Qu A l iT yArmy Standard Family of SheltersExpandable 20 ISO SheltersGichner Systems Group engineers, manufactures, and integrates non-expandable, one-side and two-side expandable Army Standard Family (ASF) 20 ISO shelters. These lightweight units can be utilized in a wide range of mission critical applications including maintenance shops, tactical operations centers, command and communications facilities, or medical units. The expandable Shelter variants are designed to allow for increased operating volume, while maintaining the dimensional requirements of ISO 668 during transportation and storage. Gichner s ASF custom integration capabilities include power distribution, electrical provisions and LED lighting, work stations, and other support equipment to meet specific application requirements.

2 Gichner has manufactured and reset ASF shelters under many contracts with the US Army, including a 5-year IDIQ contract through Natick. Lightweight construction consisting of aluminum-faced, honeycomb core panels Rapidly transported and deployed to the field by air, land, or sea Standard 8 x 8 x 20 container dimensions and corner castings tested for military or commercial freight transportation and handling (ISO 668, ISO 1496/1, ISO 1161, ISO 3874) Expandable versions allow for increased interior capacity during deployment High payload capacity Available life cycle support including refurbishment, reset, and repair of damaged ASF shelters Optional knockout panels on expandable shelters to join units together, forming a connected, environmentally controlled space CSC certified, authorized by DoD Instruction , and registered with the Joint Committee On Tactical Shelters (JOCOTAS)
