To take pre-admission courses, students should enroll in the college s Healthcare Science Certificate or Interdisciplinary Studies Degree-Health Track. 2 All students must have a CTC GPA of or higher to be considered for program admission. If a student has all transfer credit, and does not have a CTC GPA, this requirement does not apply. Transfer Students / Transfer Credit: If you are a transfer student, you must be fully admitted to Chattahoochee Technical College by Spring Semester 2022. The College s document deadline for Spring Semester 2022 is Friday, November 19, 2021. If you are transferring college credit into Chattahoochee Technical College, official transcripts must be received by the college s document deadline, Friday, November 19, 2021. Required Pre-Admission Course Work: Complete the following pre-admission courses by Monday, May 09, 2022. 3 A student may take all general education classes prior to admission into the program. If a student does elect to take all of these classes prior to admission, the student will not be considered full-time while taking the Nursing courses. Humanities Elective- Select one: ENGL 2130, HUMN 1101, ARTS 1101, MUSC 1101, MUSC 2040, THEA 1101, ENGL 2110 *If not completed prior to admission, BIOL 2114 and BIOL 2114L must be completed by the end of the 1st semester. **If not completed prior to admission, BIOL 2117, BIOL 2117L, must be completed by the end of the 2nd semester. **If not completed prior to admission, PSYC 1101, SOCI 1101, Humanities Elective must be completed by the end of the 3rd semester. Course Attempts and Point Calculations: Students are allowed two attempts in the anatomy and physiology I and anatomy and physiology II lecture and lab courses that will be awarded as admission points.

4 Should a student attempt these classes more than twice, only the first two attempts will be considered when calculating admission points. ATI TEAS: Take the ATI TEAS by Friday, April 1, 2022 and achieve a minimum total adjusted score of A student may take the ATI TEAS (Version 6) two (2) times in a calendar year and must wait a minimum of 30 calendar days in between attempts. The ATI TEAS score is valid for five years. The ATI TEAS is a standardized test that measures the student s ability in math, reading, grammar and Science . A study guide and practice test can be purchased at ATI Website. The ATI TEAS is available through the Chattahoochee Technical College s Corporate and Professional Education Department. 5 Students who qualify to take the ATI Critical Thinking Entrance exam will be notified via their CTC email address after the TEAS deadline. Scheduling of the ATI Critical Thinking Exam will occur at that time. Students will have one attempt to achieve a minimum composite score of 70% or above on the ATI Critical Thinking exam. The cost of the exam is $ The ATI Critical Thinking Entrance Exam is good for one admission period (1 year). Exams will be given at the Paulding Campus. Application Session: All students must attend an Application Session and complete a Program Application. Program applications are only given out at the Application Sessions. A schedule of Associate of Science in Nursing Application Sessions will be posted during the Spring Semester 2022 and posted on the ASN webpage.

6 Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter the session. Please note the majority of Applications Sessions for the ASN program will be held in a face-to-face environment. There will only be one Virtual Application Session, which will be able to accommodate 60 students. Students are still required to sign-up to attend all Application Sessions. Final Class Selection: Final class selection is based upon the total number of Admission Points. The students with the highest point value will be accepted into the program.
