2 Applicants will not be accepted without the clearance card documentation. home Inspector Applicants can begin submitting clearance card applications to DPS beginning on August 2, 2018. New home Inspector application forms will be posted on the Board s website. Any old forms that are received by the Board will be returned to the applicant. 4 Please review the BTR Rules and Statutes on the website carefully. They establish the requirements for certification, define limits of practice and rules of professional conduct, and explain Board procedures. It is very important that you become thoroughly familiar with the Statutes and Rules and Standards of Professional Practice. A violation of any of the provisions of the law or rules may be cause for disciplinary action against a registrant. Complete each section of the application packet, following the instructions on each form.

5 Print the required information neatly or use a computer, and be sure each form is signedwhere required. If you need additional space, please attach a supplemental sheet of paper. The AZBTR does not accept electronic signatures. Applications with electronic signatureswill be returned for resubmission. 6 A copy of your completion results from the National home Inspector completion of the exam must occur within two years of application submission inaccordance with R4-30-247(1); Proof of completion of an approved training program showing a minimum of 84 hours oftraining in accordance with R4-30-247(5). Upon receipt by the Board of the required documentation, your application will be evaluated.
