For further information contact: Lloyd or Kristine Healey on 0438-294 351 **Coffee Run - The Big Strawberry, Koonoomoo Wednesday 12th September 2018 Once the Swap is done and dusted, it is time for more serious things like strawberries, and coffee. 10 am, at the Big Strawberry. The Big Strawberry of course is at Koonoomoo. Perhaps the easiest way is to go through Katamatite, and follow the Benalla-Tocumwal Road north, cross the Murray Valley Highway at the Yarroweyah Roadhouse (caution), and continue on to Koonoomoo. Or, we ll be leaving the Clubrooms at 9 am. Please join us if you wish. **Saturday Social Day, Clubrooms 15th September 2018 Our next social club get together will be held on the 15th September 2018.

Sandra Pozzobon Coming Up September 2018 Page 7 VACC Centennial Cavalcade, to Bendigo 22nd September 2018 The Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce is holding a Centennial Cavalcade from Melbourne to Bendigo (where VACC started) on 22nd September 2018. They will feature 100 special vehicles, one from each year 1918 to 2018. The cavalcade will arrive in Bendigo at about 11 am. There will be a Show n Shine in the Bendigo Town Hall Precinct. It sounds like a good event. They still need a few cars to fill in some gaps. Dinner is at the Vine Hotel. It sounds good see me for details. **Big Day Out in a Little Town, Katamatite 23rd September 2018 A great family day with lots to see and do.

Two weeks after the Swap, we might be ready for a run? Being relatively close, it is a good chance to get some of the oldies out the vintage and veterans. I will take the Model A, and hope that plenty of other oldies come out too. Leaving from the Clubrooms at 9am, aiming to be at Katamatite Recreation Reserve at about 10am. Bay to Birdwood Run, Adelaide Sunday 30th September 2018 This year s run is open to all vehicles manufactured prior to 1960 and is limited to 1750 vehicles. The run starts at Glenelg and winds through the city to end up at the National Motor Museum at Birdwood. This year there is a second starting point to give slower vehicles a shorter distance to travel, but who d want to start anywhere else?

Edward River Rally, Deniliquin 12th-14th October 2018 This is Deniliquin District VVCC annual rally. It is based in Deni, visiting several venues in the town and Conargo and Mathoura. It sounds good I have details..September 2018 Page 8 Federation Tour, Yarram 13th-20th October 2018 This open rally will tour the beautiful countryside of East Gippsland, including the Tara-Bulga National Park.

7 It will also visit the Maffra Car Museum, East Sale RAAF Base and many other points of interest. It might be too late now however? Lloyd advises that it is booked out or very close to booked out. Details are available at **Numurkah Show Wednesday 24th October 2018 Another regular feature in our calendar. This will be our coffee run for October. East Gippsland Gallop, Bairnsdale 2nd-6th November (Melbourne Cup) 2018 This year it s East Gippsland s turn at what we call the Rally of the Valley, over Melbourne Cup weekend. Nine couples have accommodation booked at the Bairnsdale Motor Inn, and have received entry forms. If you decide that you want to go, see me (Alan) - you may be able to get a room at the above motel, but it may be booked out by now. Accommodation in Bairnsdale is heavily booked for the weekend. Entry forms and information are available at the web-site **Trydell Museum, Upper Beaconsfield 17th-18th November 2018 We have a booking as a Club to attend this excellent museum (boy s car stuff and girl s stuff!)

8 On Sunday 18th November the earliest booking available. We need to have up to three hours there, and it takes three hours drive each way to get there. So we need to do it as an overnight trip down on Saturday, back Sunday afternoon. Rooms have been booked for 10 couples at the Sanctuary House Resort Motel at Healesville for Saturday 17th. However, if you wish to go, and can find your own accommodation or can do it as a day trip, please join Swap Meet, Showgrounds 17th-18th November 2018 Numurkah Show Us Ya Wheels, Showgrounds 2nd December 2019 From 7am-2pm, entry $5, kids $2, vehicles $10 (includes one person). On display will be around 500 cars, trucks, buses, motorbikes, street cars, modifieds, hot rods and more. Lots of free kids activities. The 300 swap meet sites are 6x6m, costing $15.
