7 This year St. Mary's will be participating in the Public Out- door Rosary Rally for Peace in the World. In order to obtain peace, America and the whole world urgently need to return to God, do penance, and pray the Rosary. Jesus and Our Blessed Mother requested this during the Fatima apparitions of 1917. St. Mary's will be joining St. Augustine's, and St. Michael's and Holy Trinity of Cohoes. The Rally will be held outside at St. Michael's Church at 20 Page Avenue in Cohoes on Saturday, October 10 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM, rain or shine!

8 Peace is up to us, and it can't happen without the inter ven- tion of the Holy Spirit through Our Blessed Mother. Let us give her one hour. Please join us. THE SPIRIT OF ST. MARY'S. Restoration Campaign We had a tremendously successful garage sale [5300.] and parish raffle [$6325.]which raised $11625. A big thank you too everyone who contributed in one way or another.. A special thanks to our committee for all of their hard work and effort in making it happen. Grateful to those of you who sent in your raffle tickets.

9 As you can see from the totals above, it really put us over the top. Also grateful to everyone who contributed to our bake sale. We had a nice assortment of baked goods. Thanks to our chefs who did the grilling . Finally, a special thanks to ALL of the volunteers who were there throughout the week and on the day of the sale. A special Thank You to our 6AM early bird volunteers who assisted in filling our parking lot with the large and heavy sale items. All came onboard and were a great sailing crew!! Again, our sincere thanks to one and all for your help and participation at our biggest parish fundraiser of the year.
