(Registered number 204851). PERIOD OF INSURANCE The insurance offered is a 12-month contract which may be renewed each year. Renewal will be subject to the terms and conditions that apply at the time of renewal. LANGUAGE AND LAW APPLYING TO THE INSURANCE This insurance is written in English and all communications about it will be in English. Unless we have agreed otherwise with you, English law will apply to this insurance. TYPE OF INSURANCE AND COVER ERS offers UK Motor Breakdown and Recovery Service if the vehicle as defined in the Policy Document cannot be driven as a result of a breakdown. 4 COMPLAINTS We aim to provide a first class service. If you have any reason to complain about your insurance policy, or us, the complaints procedure is as follows. The first step is to contact our dedicated complaint handling department who will review your case on behalf of our Chief Executive. 5 If you ask someone else to act on your behalf we will require your written authority to allow us to deal with them. FINANCIAL SERVICES COMPENSATION SCHEME (FSCS) If ERS is unable to meet its liabilities under this insurance, you may be entitled to compensation from the FSCS. A claim is protected for 90% without any upper limit. For compulsory types of insurance the claim will be met in full. You can get further information about the compensation scheme arrangements from the FSCS. Information can be obtained on request, or by visiting the FSCS website at ERS POLICY DOCUMENT MBI AutoAid 1216(I) 5 Benefits If the vehicle cannot be driven as a result of a breakdown, that happens while you or your legal spouse or civil partner are driving, we will provide the services shown below as long as they are as a direct result of the breakdown. Benefit Description Significant Exceptions and Limitations Emergency Roadside Repairs We will arrange help and pay call-out fees and labour charges to repair the vehicle at the roadside.

6 Excludes any labour charges incurred at the available repairer's premises. Excludes transportation beyond the nearest available repairer. Excludes transportation of more than 5 of the Vehicle and its passengers We will arrange help and pay the cost of taking you, passengers and the vehicle to any one place you choose. Excludes transportation to more than one place. Excludes transportation of more than 5 passengers Alternative travel or Emergency overnight hotel accommodation Alternative road or rail travel, or Accommodation or travel limited to yourself and up to 5 passengers One night s hotel accommodation for you and up to 5 passengers. Room only (no food or drink). Refund the cost of travel for one person to collect the repaired vehicle. Excludes breakdowns occurring within 25 miles of the home address. Home Breakdowns We will arrange and pay the costs towards call-out fees and labour charges needed to start the vehicle; or Limited to a maximum of 65 towards cost of call out and labour fees or taking the vehicle to the nearest available garage The costs involved in taking the vehicle to the nearest available garage.

7 Limited to breakdowns within one mile of your homeaddress. Theft or Vandalism If the vehicle is stolen and recovered, or cannot be driven as a result of damage caused by vandalism, we will arrange help and pay the cost of taking the vehicle to your home address or to a repairer of your choice. Caravan and Trailers If your vehicle breaks down, any attached caravan or small trailer will be entitled to the same service as the vehicle Excludes breakdowns occurring within 1 mile of the home address. Limited to Trailers of no more than 3 metres (10 feet) in length and used only for private purposes. Trailers must be attached by a standard 50 millimetre coupling Toll Authority Fees We will arrange and pay the costs of any Toll Authority vehicle used to recover the vehicle Breakdown must occur in Toll Authority area General Exclusions Taking vehicles and passengers to more than one address after any one breakdown Cost of any parts used to repair the vehicle Loss or damage to the vehicle or its contents ERS POLICY DOCUMENT MBI AutoAid 1216(I) 6 Introduction This is a motor vehicle breakdown and recovery insurance designed to help keep you and your party mobile.

8 It is not a replacement for a motor insurance policy and does not provide cover for bodywork repairs following any accident, vandalism or theft. It is not a maintenance policy and therefore does not cover the costs of parts or the cost of non-emergency repair work such as routine servicing or diagnostic tuning. You are responsible for all costs for parts and labour needed to repair the vehicle, other than any call-out fees and labour at the scene of the breakdown. You may be asked to sign documentation by the Recovery Agent which relate to the service being provided. Failure to do so may result in further services being denied. Please do not sign any documents until you have read and understood the content in full. Any emergency repairs undertaken at the roadside by Recovery Agents are temporary, to resolve the immediate breakdown. These repairs cannot be guaranteed and permanent repairs will need to be effected at the earliest opportunity.

9 You are responsible for ensuring any repairs carried out at a repairing garage are to your satisfaction. Providing you have paid the appropriate premium, you will be entitled to the benefits and bound by the restrictions under each Section of this policy as shown on the policy schedule. The General Conditions and General Exceptions apply to all Sections of the policy. ERS POLICY DOCUMENT MBI AutoAid 1216(I) 7 Definitions Wherever these key words appear in this document, they will have the meanings defined below. Breakdown(s) mechanical or electrical breakdown (failures or breakages), flat batteries, punctures, lack of fuel, lost ignition keys or damage which is caused by an accident, vandalism or theft and results in you not being able to drive the vehicle. Document of Insurance this policy document together with the policy schedule form your AutoAid Breakdown Recovery Document of Insurance.

10 ERS is made up of the Lloyd's underwriters who have insured you under this contract. Each underwriter is only liable for their own share of the risk and not for any other's share. You can ask us for the names of the underwriters and the share of the risk each has taken on. Period of insurance the period of time covered by this insurance (as shown in the schedule). Territorial limits within the mainland of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Motorised caravans can be covered provided they are under tons gross vehicle weight and with an engine capacity of no more than 2500 cc, which is being driven by either you, or your legal spouse or civil partner.
