1 Data sheet: Available Plate Dimensions Plate Mill products General description Plate mill products are produced from continuously cast slabs on a 4-high reversing mill in thicknesses from 5mm to 100mm depending on the material specification. Widths range from 1200mm to 3200mm and lengths from 4,0m to 13,0m. Due to furnace Dimensions restrictions, normalised and quenched &. tempered plates are Available in lengths up to 13,0m only. A maximum Plate mass of approximately 10 tons can be supplied depending on Plate thickness and specification. Available Dimensions Dimensions Available are subject to the following conditions: 1.

2 Minimum length: lengths shorter than 4,0m for as-rolled and 6,0m for normalised material are Available on enquiry only. 2. Maximum Length: lengths longer than 13,0m are Available on enquiry only. 3. Lengths can be supplied in increments of 10mm. 4. Widths can be supplied in increments of 5mm. 5. Thicknesses can be supplied in increments of 0,5mm. Smaller increments are Available on enquiry. 6. Widths in the thinner gauges are restricted due to mill force constraints. 7. Maximum lengths in the thicker gauges are restricted due to slab mass constraints. 8. Wearplate > 8 mm to 20 mm thickness supplied sides uncut (cut-to length only).

3 9. For maximum Plate Dimensions , refer to Tables 1 to 6. 10. The maximum Plate lengths for thicknesses between two columns can be determined by linear interpolation. 11. Due to capacity constraints not all qualities are Available to a maximum mass of 10 tons.
