Program must run at least 5 weeks and not exceed 15 weeks after the last day of class. 2. Payment: Payment in full or $250 to secure a spot by pre-registering, the balance within the first 4 weeks. $10 a month late fee for unpaid balance. No refunds. 3. Students must complete all learning activities as assigned by the instructor in classroom. Student must reach 80% competency on all testing. 8 What do I need to do to get my permit? If you do not have a Washington State ID card please go to www. and pre-apply for your first WA license. After you confirm your account, the DOL will send you an email confirmation with your ID number. Once we receive your application with payment and this number we will submit a permit waiver on-line for you. You may then get your permit as early as 10 days prior to your class starting as long as you are 15 years old. Please submit this number or the number on your Washington State ID card to your B&B registration form. This number will begin with the first letters of your last name. What do I need to do to get a Washington State Driver s License When you have completed your classroom portion of driver s ed and you are paid in full you are eligible to take the DOL written test. The first written test will be administered directly after the last class.

9 Any make-ups will be by appointment. The DOL drive test may be taken in a B&B car. When you have completed Driver Education, have passed the DOL written test, and have had your permit for at least 3 months you will be eligible to take the DOL drive test. When you feel confident, call the B&B office at 466-2343 to schedule your road test. *Please wait at least 2 weeks after you have completed to call. This will enable your classroom teacher to supply the office with your records and for all checks to clear. Your driver s license. 10 Congratulations, if you are now 16 years old, go to your nearest Department of Licensing. B&B is not the Department of Licensing. We are an approved site to administer testing for licensure. You will need to go the nearest DOL to apply for your license. Their application fee is $35 and your Washington Drivers License is $54.
