Monday night three stores were hit in tandem, 10 minutes apart. T-Mobile locations in valley Village, Reseda and Woodland Hills were targeted, with multiple suspects. In Woodland Hills, the suspects were described as wearing black and gray hoodies. In valley Village the three suspects were described as three Black males. LAPD has not confirmed if it was the same three in all incidents. Calabasas to Enforce Regulations on Tobacco SalesThe City of Calabasas accepted a $159,207 grant from the California Department of Justice to enforce regulations on tobacco sales - specifically to enforce registration requirements for tobacco sellers, and to decrease illegal sales of tobacco products to those under 21.

8 The Calabasas Municipal Code allows three sting operations a year for enforcement and the grant will allow the city to increase that to six such operations for three years. This grant will greatly help our community and teens in our city, said Sheriff Alex Villanueva in a letter to the city. Approximately 23% of high school students at 6% of middle schoolers used a tobacco product in 2021, according to the CDC.
