2 Recent tours have taken the choir to venues including Carnegie Hall and Duke University Chapel. The Wesleyan Chorale provides an opportunity for students to sing with the Owensboro Symphony Chorus. Instrumental ensembles, such as the Wind Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra and Concert Band, provide performance opportunities for students and community members. These ensembles present several concerts a year in area schools, churches and local venues such as RiverPark Center and Owensboro Convention Center. Students from these ensembles also support our nationally recognized basketball teams by participating in the Wesleyan Pep Band. Students have opportunities for internships with professional MUSIC corporations, including churches, the RiverPark Center, Owensboro Symphony Orchestra, Wax Works, International Bluegrass MUSIC Museum and Owensboro and Daviess County Public Schools.
