7 Wet Areas & Recommended Fan TypesWhen considering where in the room to place an extractor fan, you must consider the wet areas. For example a fan mounted directly over a bath or shower must be a low voltage fan if less than off the location of an extraction fan will ensure maximum air-flow through the room. Air extracted from a Bathroom should be replaced with dry air drawn from an adjacent room or hallway.
