On leavingEton he we accepted by both Central St Martins and the SladeSchools of Art but instead decided to travel the world only laterreturning to study English and Drama at Exeter University. In1992, after dabbling in graphic art, he took part in a groupexhibition by the St James s Group in London and portraitcommissions began to materialise.
