Make sure you will take the time to socialize the pig so it will be friendly. It is good to teach the pig to wear a harness, walk on a leash, and to walk up a ramp and ride in a crate in case you need to take the pig to the vet or want to take it somewhere. Potbellied Pigs can live 15 years or more; please make sure you are prepared to love and care for the pig for that many years.
