2 , Ltd CAS Data Business Park / Tiensing Renaissance City 1 Global Forum on Energy Security (GFES) is a world-wide platform of think tanks to promote communication of ideas for secure Energy supply and sustainable future, co-founded in 2012 by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), the United States Energy Security Council (USESC) and the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS). We are pleased to announce that the seventh Global Forum on Energy Security will be held in Beijing on June 18-19, 2018, hosted by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, under the auspices of International Energy Forum (IEF), Energy Charter (ECT), United States Energy Security Council (USESC) and the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security (IAGS).

3 Since its inaugural conference, the Global Forum on Energy Security has become China s premier international platform for deliberations on the changing Global Energy landscape and China s role in Global Energy security. This annual by-invitation-only conference brings together international Energy security experts from related countries to discuss current Energy security challenges. 1.
