2 Puppy, Level 1, Silver & Gold last for 6 weeks & are 60 for a weekly 1 hour session. Assessments are offered when appropriate to the progress of the handler & dog apart from Puppy Foundation which is an ongoing weekly assessment carried out by the instructor of the class. All assessments at all levels for the KCGCDS are carried out by Kennel Club A list Examiners. The Kennel Club is notified of test results. Please note that dogs taking Silver or Gold assessments must have passed the previous stages of the schemes. Benefit Basic Skills awards are in-house assessments carried out by Benefit instructors. Any dogs showing unsuitability or stress to a class environment, eg. excessive barking/aggression may be referred for 1-2-1 Training .
