1 BG Barbara Doornink (Ret) Sr. Vice president , Operations manager logistics solutions Operation (LSO) Barbara Doornink joined SAIC in September of 2005 as Vice president , Division manager in the logistics and Engineering solutions Business Unit. The challenges associated with bringing integrated solutions for logistics to the Department of Defense (DoD) customer base as well as the opportunity to support the logistics and fielding for BCTM; support to US DOT and DLA were based in her division. A major contract in her division is the Joint logistics Integration (JLI) support to Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Program. The JLI is responsible for providing overall integrated logistics support of the fleet, including vehicle receipt and fielding; asset visibility and tracking; configuration management; supply chain management; logistics analyses; and provisioning, maintenance and training oversight.

2 BG (Ret) Barbara Doornink was promoted to Senior Vice president , Operations manager for logistics solutions Operation in March of 2009. With an expanded role that includes overseeing her previous division as well as the Transportation solutions Division, and logistics Information Technology Division. In January of 2004, prior to joining SAIC, Ms. Doornink was the Vice president of Operations for IntelliTrans, a company focused on supply chain support through technology to the rail industry. BG (Ret) Barbara Doornink , in her assignment as DCG and Director of Operations for SDDC, directed surface deployment of US forces to Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as their surface sustainment support.

3 She served on the Army G4 Staff as the Director of Plans and Operations . Prior to this assignment she commanded the DLA Defense Distribution Center, expanding the world wide number to 24 distribution centers. While assigned in the European Command, Stuttgart, Germany, she served initially as the Chief of Joint logistics Operations . After selection for promotion to General, she became Vice Director of logistics and Security Assistance, J4. During this time, she spent six months as deputy commanding general, Stabilization Force Support Command, Zagreb, Croatia. BG (Ret) Barbara Doornink served in a variety of logistics leadership and staff positions: platoon leader in a truck company; chief of a movements region in Korea; commander of a truck company and battalion Operations officer at Ft Eustis; Division Transportation Officer, support battalion executive officer and brigade Operations officer at Ft Lewis; commander of a truck battalion in Germany; commander of an airborne brigade at Ft Bragg.

4 Additionally, she was an instructor at the US Military Academy and a Transportation Corps Personnel Assignment Officer. BG (Ret) Barbara Doornink received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Washington State University in 1973, a Masters of Science from the University of Southern California in Information Systems Management and a Masters of Science from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in National Resource Management. She is an active member of the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA), Association of the United States Army (AUSA), and the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). She was inducted into the DLA Hall of Fame in 2007 for her major contributions to the Defense Distribution Center and the nation's security.
