He is Executive Chairman of the LangaGroup, a corporate investment company. Heis the former deputy Chief Executive Officer ofSouth African Airways, where he also servedas General Counsel and Executive VicePresident for Strategy, Revenue Managementand Network Planning.

2 During the late 90sOyama practised as a merchant banker atUnion Bank of Switzerland and worked inLondon and Johannesburg. He later joinedthe Johannesburg Bar. He holds a Bachelor ofArts degree in Political Science from theUniversity of California and a Juris Doctoratein Corporate Law from Columbia Robbie Barr (47) (British)Appointed to the BOARD in 2005 Robbie is a representative of Vodafone andjoined the Vodacom BOARD on March 10,2005. He is Vodafone Group Plc s GroupFinancial Controller and the Chief FinancialOfficer of Vodafone s Global BusinessDevelopment unit.

3 He joined Vodafone in1993 and has held a number of seniorfinance roles in the Vodafone Group duringthis period. Robbie is currently a directorof a number of Vodafone s subsidiarycompanies, as well as the French mobiletelecommunications operator Soci t Fran aise du Radiot l phone Gavin Darby (50) (British)Appointed to the BOARD in 2004 Gavin is a representative of Vodafone andwas appointed Chief Executive, AmericasRegion in Vodafone Group Plc on April 1,2004. He recently took on the responsibilityfor the operations in Africa, China and holds a Bachelor of Science (honours)degree in Management Sciences from theUniversity of Manchester.

4 Prior to Vodafone,he joined Coca-Cola GB in 1985 asMarketing Director. In 1988, he wasappointed General Manager, Coca-Cola 1991 to 1998, Gavin held the positionsof Benelux Region Manager and North WestEurope Division President at Coca-Cola withresponsibility for seven countries. In 1998, hebecame Division President of 23 countries inCentral Europe for two years before beingappointed Senior Vice President. He left Coca-Cola in February 2001 to take up the positionof Chief Operating Officer at Vodafone September 2002, he became ChiefExecutive Officer of Vodafone Papi Molotsane (46)Appointed to the BOARD in 2005 Papi is a representative of Telkom on theVodacom BOARD .

5 He was appointed ChiefExecutive Officer of Telkom SA Limited inSeptember 2005. Prior to joining Telkom , hewas the Group Executive of Transnet and hasa broad-based professional background inengineering, systems, operations, sales,marketing and human resources. He iscurrently also a director of SA America s CupChallenge. Previously he acted as a directorof Ariviakom (Proprietary) Limited and FikeInvestment (Proprietary) Limited. Papi holdsa Bachelor of Science degree in Business,a Bachelor of Engineering Technologydegree and a Master of Science degree inBusiness Marius Mostert (46)Appointed to the BOARD in 2004 Marius is a representative of Telkom .

6 Hequalified as a Chartered Accountant(South Africa), working for three years at thethen auditing company Aiken and Carter(now part of KPMG). In 1985, he joined theIndustrial Development Corporation ( IDC )where he worked for 14 years. In 1997 hewas appointed to the Executive Managementof IDC, first as General Manager, responsiblefor corporate finance and client care andlater as Executive Vice President: ProfessionalServices. In October 2001, he joinedPSG Investment Bank as Financial held this position until the acquisition ofPSG Investment Bank by ABSA Bank.

Prior to that, he served as ChiefTechnical Officer from May 2002 and asManaging Executive of Technology andNetwork Services from March 2000. Hehas worked in various engineering andcommercial positions in Telkom since is a member of the Professional Institute ofEngineers of South Africa ( ECSA ) and holdsa Bachelor of Science degree in Electricaland Electronic Engineering from theUniversity of Cape Andr Sokol (33) (French)Appointed to the BOARD in 2006 Andr is Group Director of Mergers andAcquisitions at Vodafone Group Plc.

8 Prior tojoining Vodafone, he was a ManagingDirector at UBS Investment Banking (which hejoined in 1994, then known as ). For over 10 years, Andr specialised in international mergers andacquisitions, executing some of the world slargest transactions. These includedVodafone s acquisition of Mannesmann, thelargest hostile bid in history, as well as thesale of Orange Plc to France Telecom. Andr worked at UBS Investment Bank both inLondon and in Los Angeles. Andr wasborn in France and educated in theUnited Jeroen Visser (43) (Dutch)Appointed to the BOARD in 2005 Jeroen recently joined the Vodafone GlobalBusiness Development Organisation asGovernance Director for Africa, Fiji andChina.

9 Prior to that, he was Director ofGlobal Voice Platforms in Vodafone s GroupMarketing where he launched the VodafoneSimply proposition. As Director of GlobalConsumer Products, Jeroen project managedthe global launch of Vodafone live!. 10 Limited since October 1996. Priorto that, Alan was Senior General Manager ofMobile Communications at Telkom SA Limited,until the inception of Vodacom. Alan holds aBachelor of Science degree in ElectricalEngineering (cum laude) from the University ofCape Town, a Master of Business Leadershipdegree from the University of South Africa andwas awarded an honorary Doctorate inBusiness Leadership from the University ofSouth Africa in 2006. He was inducted as oneof the eight Gold Members of the GSMA ssociation s 2001 inaugural Roll of Honour for his contribution to bringing mobilecommunication to Africa s masses.
