The most commonsuch fuel availablein the UnitedStatesis derivedfrom soybeanoil (aproductcalled "Soy MethylEster"[SME or SOME]).In its pure form, biodieselfuel is designatedB100 (or "Neat Biodiesel"),which meansthat the fuel is 100% 100% productis then blendedwith petroleum-basedUltra Low Sulfur Die-sel (ULSD)fuel in concentrationsof 2% biodieselto 98% petroleum-baseddiesel,5% biodieselto 95% petroleum-baseddie-sel, 20% biodieselto 80% petroleum-baseddiesel,and higher.

6 The resultantbiodieselfuel blendsare then designatedas B2(for a 2% blend),B5 (for a 5% blend),B20 (for a 20% blend)and so , MP8 and MP10 enginesare certifiedto complywith EPA and Californiaemissionsstandardsbaseduponthe use of test fuels with specificationsestablishedby these , includingbiodiesel, that are not substantiallysimilarto the requiredtest fuels may adverselyaffect a result, mack does not warrantthe enginewill conformto applicableFederalor Californiaemis-sions limits when operatedon biodieselor other alternativefuels that are not substantiallysimilarto specifiedtest fuels usedfor enginewarrantycoversdefectsin materialand workmanshipon the part of the manufacturer.
