On February 23, 1930, he was born to Carl L. and Lillie (nee: Miller) Fritts in DeMotte, Indiana. On February 25, 1950, Eugene married the love of his life, Della Pelton. Eugene was a farmer and a member of Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church of Wheatfield. Surviving along with his wife Della are Steve ( Sharon ) Fritts, Donna ( Greg ) Allen, Christine ( Jerry ) Ritter, Marilyn (Mike) Rust, Ruth Ann ( Greg ) Myers, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sisters, Mary Ann ( Thomas ) Harvey-Greenberg, Margaret ( Don ) Steinke, brothers, Jack ( Kathy ) Fritts, Dr.
2 James ( Marilyn ) Fritts, and Thomas ( Barbara ) Fritts. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, brother Michael, and son David. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 on Friday, July 28, 2006, at the Boersma Funeral home , 90 East Grove St. Wheatfield, IN. Services for Eugene C. Fritts will be held at 10:00 on Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church of Wheatfield, IN. with Father Paternoster officiating.
