1 TROOP. e The combination of the trademark and the specially configured expression Boy Scouts of in configurations described in Boy Scouts of America Signature Usage. 370. Boy led. Man made. September 15, 2009. COURT OF HONOR. by David Boyd Wednesday, August 19, was our yearly Court of Honor where we recognize everyone's advancement. The night started off with a fantastic barbeque dinner. The pulled pork sandwiches were delicious. Everyone brought a side or buns, so we had some good eats. After the dinner, Mrs. Johnson announced that she is the Popcorn Colonel, and some very good prizes will be given away. Mr. Ball asked parents to sign up for the merit badges offered to the boys. After the announcements, we opened the ceremony with a flag ceremony. I then gave my State of the Troop address, followed by Mr. Evan's address. We discussed the past year, including leadership, religious emblems and more. I also went over the amazing calendar we have this year.

2 We moved on to recognizing different forms of 11. advancement, such as participants in Troop Leader Training, andidentity Brand the National guide Youth Leadership Training (the best Boy Scouts of America program Scouting has to offer concerning leadership!). We also recognized the boys that earned the National Camping award, having over 100 nights of camping in their career. We acknowledged the boys and girls, who completed the Triple Crown award. The Chairman's award this year went to Fontaine Kohler, for all of the countless hours she has put into Troop 370. The Folsom Award for Excellence in Camping and Cooking went to Reid Ulicny. The William Waddey Award for Outstanding Community Service went to Andrew Quigley. Then, we recognized everyone's advancement in the past year. I am astounded by the amount of progress the boys make every year, a sign that we are one of the best troops in the nation. This year's banquet summed up how excellent our troop is.

3 As for my role as Senior Patrol Leader (SPL) for the past six months, the biggest lesson I learned was that you can not have too many friends supporting you.
