Please be advised that candidates are only allowed to earn 42 total hours of joint credit in each seven-year certification cycle towards their BCACP and BCPS certifications.

3 See Page 2 for more information BCPS Recertification by Continuing Education Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialists (BCPS) recertifying via continuing education are required to earn 120 hours of credit from approved programs. All program components contain web-based post- tests . BCPS must complete and pass these post- tests to earn CE credits towards BCPS recertification. Only completed tests are eligible for credit; no partial or incomplete tests will be processed All hours listed above are the minimum number of hours offered each year. Approved providers may offer hours above the minimum. CE hours are transmitted directly to BPS from approved providers AFTER the post-test are completed. ACPE Continuing Pharmacy Education Credit ACCP and ASHP are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as providers of continuing pharmacy education. Minimum post-test score and due dates for ACPE continuing pharmacy education credit may be different than the minimum post-test score and due dates for BCPS recertification by continuing education.
