Subsequent monthly health and safety assessments must be completed by the principal s designee and filed in each head start / early head start teacher s data binder. The attached head start / early head start health and safety checklists must be used to complete the health and safety assessment of each classroom. Non-compliance items must be addressed immediately. head start / early head start programs will be subject to unannounced health and safety monitoring visits from the Department of Health and Human Services and Miami-Dade County. Any outstanding non-compliance item, at the time of a federal/county health and safety monitoring visit, will require a corrective action plan to be submitted to the Office of early Childhood Programs.
