Transcription of Brunel SP27D Microscope
1 Brunel SP20D MicroscopeThe SP20D has been specifically commissioned by ourselves to combine effective optics with a stablecamera CMOS chip and easy to use software that allows full image manipulation and image SP20D has a four position turret with RMS standard achromatic objectives x4, x10, x40 and x100(oil), and a widefield x10 eyepiece giving a magnification range of x40 to x1000. There is a fullmechanical stage with double vernier scale and coaxial drop down controls. Focus is by coaxial coarseand fine focus controls with an inbuilt safety stop. The focusing condenser has an iris diaphragm andfilter carrier. The illumination is provided by an extremely effective LED system and has full rheostatbrightness control. The monocular eyetube rotates through 360 , and the camera system is enclosedwithin the head and shares the image with the eyepiece.
2 No adjustment is therefore needed to bringthe camera into operation. The camera unit is attached to a PC or Laptop via a USB specificationThe camera has a pixel (1280 x 1024) CMOS chip and is supported by Scopeimage software thatis suitable for Windows XP/Vista, 7 and 8 in both 32 and 64 bit. This is included with the microscopewill the necessary drivers and of course full operating instructions. Step by step instructions areprovided that require relatively little computer knowledge to get things working. The Scopeimagesoftware has a large number of applications including video clips and still images, time lapse videoclips, full image colour and exposure control, automatic white balance, saved image orientation, distance, area and angle measurement on still images, annotation on still images, and manual andauto exposure achromatic objectivesSP20D aluminium attache caseMX9D rack and pinion focusBrunel SP27D Microscope2 The SP27D has been specifically commissioned by ourselves to combine effective optics with a stablecamera 3M CMOS chip and easy to use software that allows full image manipulation and SP27D has a four position turret with RMS standard achromatic objectives x4, x10, x40 and x100(oil)
