Naming the ABCs I. Our lessons begin with the introduction of the ABC's; how to correctly write the letters of the English alphabet. A. The lesson titled "Proper Printing" teaches the student the importance of writing from left to right, and this is especially true of letters like "e", which can be written like a Hebrew "shin." B. It is also very important to write the letter from "up to down" as shown in the diagram. Notice that the capital letters are twice the height of the small letters. Only by writing "up to down" can the student get the exact proportions of the lines and the curves that create the letters.

C. The student will benefit from this discipline by getting their mind use to special characteristics of the English language. The practice exercises will help them remember quickly when writing and reading. I. -ABC's - .. (Lesson a) "Proper Printing" , "e" " " .. , .. II. Name and proper pronunciation of the ABCs by using: "Lesson: a1 Alphabet.

" A. Students should be taught to memorize the each letter in the alphabet, with the help of the Hebrew written underneath 1. Students should be taught to read the name of each letter, saying "big + letter" and then the "small + letter". For example, "big A, Big B, little a, little b," and etc. 2. Repeat the exercises by singing the ABCs song and pointing at the letter 3. Afterward, the teacher instructs the students to do lesson: "a2 Alphabet Exercise." B. The vowel letters (A,E,I,O,U) should be taught: "a3 The Five Vowels." 1. It is helpful mention they are like the dots we use under the Hebrew letters.

2. These exercises should be repeated so the student learns the five vowels song by memory 3. The links are in the Table of Contents"(Mp3 files and YouTube). II. , : ".a1 Alphabet" . 1.. " " ( ) " " ( ) . " A, B, a, b, ' 2. - ABCs ABCs 3. : , .. ,(A,E,I,O,U) :".

He or she should tbe particular to print from left to right, and up to down B.

The students should say "big" A, or "little a" every time he colors or traces a letter C. The student should practice the letters until he correctly recognizes each letter quickly D. Learn worksheet "a5 Memorize the Letters," and practice proper writing skills III. (Lesson a4 Find the Letters ) . : " A" " a, " ' 1. ( ) . 2. , " A" " a," ' . " " " ".

: "a5 Memorize the Letters" : IV. Special attention should be paid to correct articulation A. The teacher should demonstrate how one uses articulators to pronounce different sounds 1. The letter W should not be taught as "double u" because it leads to errors in reading a W as an U. There is no L sound in the name of the letter W. The sound of W is said by tensing the lips as though to whistle and then letting air out by opening the mouth 2. The letter "Z" should not be taught as "zed," but "zee" because the "d" sound is not heard when reading words in which the letter "d" appears 3.
