1 BUSINESS ADVISOR: PRE-INVESTMENT SUPPORT: C4. BUSINESS FINANCE DEPARTMENT . ITHALA TRADE CENTRE. REFERENCE NUMBER: NK18009. The BUSINESS Advisor: Pre-Investment will be responsible for leading and controlling the BUSINESS Advisory and Pre-Investment Support Team, ensuring operational efficiency and delivering service excellence through providing clients with best advice and pre-investment support. The successful candidate's responsibilities will be to: Drive the achievement of division's strategic goals. Provide leadership to BUSINESS Advisors. Develop and implement advisory and pre-investment programmes. Monitor and direct actions of team, ensuring policies and procedures and followed. Maintain industry knowledge to ensure service excellence Build strong client relationships to ensure efficient and effective client support.

2 Ensure team adherence to customer service standards. Manage performance of service providers in line with Service Level Agreements. Communicate management decisions to team and service providers Drive process of efficiency and effectiveness to the team. Support the DEPARTMENT 's BUSINESS activities and ensure BUSINESS objectives are met. Ensure compliance to corporate and legislative requirements. The following minimum requirements should be met in order to be considered: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce ( FINANCE , accounting, and economics) or equivalent qualification. Two to three (2 3) years' experience in SMME financing environment. Proven experience in providing advice and pre-investment support. Exposure to a Development FINANCE environment.

3 Experience in risk and compliance. Advanced knowledge of BUSINESS and financial management. Strong planning and organisational skills. High focus on result and customer satisfaction. Ability to prioritise tasks and drive performance. Knowledge of entrepreneurial challenges. Knowledge of relevant legislation Banks Act, FAIS, AFICA NCA, PFMA. Ability to manage Service Level Agreements. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office packages. Sound knowledge of SMME market within KZN. Must be willing to work under pressure and outside normal hours. Must be adaptable and able to manage continual change. Must demonstrate integrity, confidentiality and honesty. Must be fair, flexible and consistent.
