2 This INSTRUCTION implements the materiel condition measurement reporting requirements of Department of Defense INSTRUCTION (DODI). , Materiel Condition Reporting for Mission - Essential Systems and Equipment. This INSTRUCTION also implements the accountability and management of Department of Defense (DOD) equipment and other property accountability requirements outlined in DODI , Accountability and Management of DOD Equipment and Other Accountable Property. It applies to all Major Commands (MAJCOMs) including Air FORCE Reserve Command (AFRC), Field Operating Agencies (FOA), Direct Reporting Units (DRU), including the Air National Guard 2 AFI21-103_AMCSUP_I 30 AUGUST 2017. (ANG) and all their subordinates, Depot facilities, and Government plant representatives assigned to commercial contractor facilities. Supplements and addendums are written In Accordance With (IAW) AFI 33-360, Publication and Forms Management. Authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this publication are identified with a tier ( T-0, T-1, T 2, T-3 ).

4 (AMC) This supplement implements and extends the guidance of AFI 21-103, Equipment Inventory, Status and Utilization Reporting. This publication implements major command (MAJCOM) policy by supplementing specific processes and procedures that are unique to Air Mobility Command (AMC). This publication is applicable to all AMC units and Air FORCE Reserve Command (AFRC) and Air National Guard (ANG) upon mobilization and/or AMC-led classic AFRC and ANG associations. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air FORCE Manual (AFMAN). 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with Air FORCE Records Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS). Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) using Air FORCE Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication;. route AF Form 847s from the field through the appropriate functional' s chain of command.
