Rosie is going to take her nap. MOM Shhh. MOM (cross) CAILLOU . CAILLOU want to play. MOM You can still play--just do it quietly. GRANDMA-STORYTELLER ( ) CAILLOU felt that being quiet wasn't as much fun as being noisy. MOM (warning) MOM (sternly) I asked you to play quietly. CAILLOU Cookies. I want cookies. I'm hungry. GRANDMA-STORYTELLER ( ) So CAILLOU went to the CAILLOU (excited gasp) Honeeeeeey.

2 CAILLOU Whoooooaaah. CAILLOU (amazed) Whew. CAILLOU (disappointed) Ohhhhh. GRANDMA-STORYTELLER ( ) CAILLOU decided to make some honey cookies. GRANDMA-STORYTELLER ( ) And so, CAILLOU got to work--making a whole bunch of honey cookies: fat ones, skinny ones, flat ones, and round ones. MOM ( ) Oh CAILLOU . What are you doing? CAILLOU (bawling) I m making cookies. MOM (still cross) Look at the mess you made. (Beat) (softening) Do you want to help Mommy clean it up? CAILLOU Yes, Mommy--me and you. MOM We have to make sure the kitchen is nice and clean. (Beat) Now where's that dustpan? CAILLOU I found it. MOM and CAILLOU (laughter) MOM That's the way, my favourite helper. MOM CAILLOU . Grandma Storyteller ( ) CAILLOU was very proud.
