1 1 Call for applications for tuition fee waivers for international students enrolling at the University of Pavia in the academic year 2022/23 DEADLINES Call 1: 25th November 2021 Call 2: 10th January 2022 Call 3: 25th February 2022 Call 4: 10th April 2022 Call 5: 31st May 2022 ART. 1 - Subject, duration and amount In order to encourage international students to enroll at the University of Pavia, 150 tuition fee waivers will be awarded on a First come first served basis to students enrolling in selected Bachelor s or Master s degree programs at the University of Pavia for academic year 2022/23. The holders of the exemption must confirm their enrollment and only pay the tuition fee installment that covers a regional tax for the right to higher education and the duty stamp.

2 The sum - around - is revised annually and can therefore be subject to slight variation. The exact sum to be paid for students enrolling in the 2022/23 academic year will be made known at a later time. The fee waiver is effective for the first year only and cannot be extended or renewed. ART. 2 - Requirements All the applicants must fulfill the following requirements: 1. Hold a non-Italian citizenship (either Non-UE or EU); 2. Hold a residency outside Italy; 3. Hold a High School diploma/Bachelor s degree obtained outside Italy; 4. Be admitted to one of the Bachelor s or Master s degree programs listed in Attachment 1. ART. 3 - Incompatibility tuition fee waivers are not compatible with: - Any other kind of scholarship/grant issued by the University of Pavia; - EDiSU Pavia scholarship: Students who apply for a fee waiver can also apply for EDiSU scholarship via a call that is published in July every year (see ).

3 The EDiSU scholarship consists of a grant, a free meal/day at the canteens, free accommodation in an EDiSU college and a fee waiver. As the fee waiver is already included in the EDiSU scholarship, EDiSU scholarship winners will automatically lose the fee waiver offered by this call; - Study grants issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI); - Study grants issued under an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master s d egree; - Multiple or joint degree programs for which tuition fees have to be paid to a partner University other than the University of Pavia. 2 ART. 4 - Application submission: terms and procedures The application for the tuition fee waiver must be submitted at the time of applying for a study program on the online platform by the following deadlines: Call 1: 25th November 2021 Call 2: 10th January 2022 Call 3: 25th February 2022 Call 4: 10th April 2022 Call 5: 31st May 2022 In order to submit your application you have to: 1.

4 Sign up on the platform by creating your account. While signing up, insert the code FW_UNIPV_22_23 in the I have a reference code section 2. Complete the application for a study program by filling out the profile with all of the required data, uploading the necessary documentation. If you previously forgot to request the fee waiver, you can still proceed so by clicking on: your name at the upper right of the page "My profile" "Have a reference code?" insert the code FW_UNIPV_22_23; 3. Officially submit the application by clicking on the SUBMIT button. ART. 5 - Award of tuition fee waivers In order to be eligible for the fee waiver, candidates must fulfill all the above-mentioned requirements. Selection will be made on a First come first served basis.

5 The fee waiver award will be notified by email along with the result of the course application. The fee waiver is effectively applied when the student entitled completes the enrollment procedure by paying the fisrt tuition fee installment that covers a regional tax for the right to higher education and the duty stamp ( approximately ). ART. 6 - Personal data treatment Personal data submitted by the applicants will be used solely for application and selection procedures and institutional aims, and will be treated in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation no. 2016/679 art. 13. ART. 7 - Information The Supervisor of the procedure is Elena Fontana, the Head of Marketing and Recruitment Unit at the University of Pavia.
