Call to worship WELCOME TO THE Thames Anglican Church Tikanga Pakeha partner church in the three strand Anglican Church in Aotearoa/ New Zealand/Pacifica Please bring up any foodbank offerings during this next hymn AM 116 All things bright and beautiful Refrain: All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them all.

Each little flow r that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings. The purple-headed mountains, The river running by, The sunset and the morning That brightens up the sky. The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one. The tall trees in the greenwood, The meadows where we play, The rushes by the water, To gather every day. He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well. Reginald Heber Please see rear page for Today s Readings and ministers REMEMBER Put your clocks back next Saturday night and come to church at our new time of 9:30am We come seeking forgiveness for all we have failed to be and do as members of Christ s body.

Silence In God there is forgiveness Loving and all seeing God, forgive us where we have failed to support one another and to be what we claim to be. Forgive us where we have failed to serve you; and where our thoughts and actions have been contrary to yours we ask your pardon. God forgives us; be at peace. Silence Rejoice and be glad, for Christ is resurrection, reconciliation for all the human race. We shall all be one in Christ, one in our life together. Praise to God who has created us, praise to God who has accepted us, praise to God who sends us into the world. Amen Prayer of Confession Assurance of Pardon Sentence God of our longing, you come to us in prayer. Help us to follow Jesus example by taking time to pray, and taking time to listen.

This we ask in Jesus name and in the power of the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Everloving God, your care for us is greater even than a mother s love for her child; teach us to value a mother s love and see in it an expression of your grace, As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you, and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem, says the Lord. Isaiah 66 v 13 Collect Affirmation of faith Collect - continued that we may ever feel more deeply your love for us in Christ Jesus our Saviour. Amen. NJ 81 Jesus, Name above all names Jesus name above all names beautiful Saviour, glorious Lord. Emmanuel, God is with us; blessed Redeemer, living word Copyright 1974,1980 Scripture in Song Eucharistic Prayer God be with you.

And also with you. Lift up your hearts! We lift them up to God! I believe that God, the source of all life, has created all people on Earth a rich diversity of colours and cultures with no people superior to another. I believe that God promised land a place for each people to dwell, to sustain and celebrate in peace with all creatures. I believe that in Jesus Christ, God became flesh, become one with creation and one with all human life. I believe that this same Jesus who suffered and died on the cross, suffers when peoples are massacred, oppressed as less than other humans, and torn or stolen from their lands. I believe that through the cross God still reconciles people to God, people to the good land, and people to each other.

I believe that the Spirit of God dwells in this creation, is present in all the lands of Earth, renews the life and spirit of all things, and calls all peoples to discover and celebrate God s presence A mothers Love is a reflection of God s Love Isaiah 66:13 Sending Forth Eucharistic prayer - Continued that we may ever feel more deeply your love for us in Christ Jesus our Saviour. Amen. AM 205 Now Thank we all our God Now thank we all our God, with hearts and hands and voices, such wonders he has done, in him the world rejoices; He from our mother's arms has blessed us on our way with countless gifts of love, and still is ours today. So may this generous God through all our life be near us, to fill our hearts with joy, and with his peace to cheer us; to keep us in his grace, and guide us when perplexed, to free us from all ills In this world and the next.
