Campground Rules & Regulations The Campground has 39 paved camping pads with running water, electricity, grills, and picnic tables. A sanitary dump station is also available. All Rules and Regulations of the site are applicable to campers. Camping is only allowed in designated areas. You must register at the Visitor's Center. You must be 18 years old, have a valid drivers license, and motor vehicle with valid tags. This is a Campground and not a permanent residence. Cleanliness Camping sites are to be kept in a neat and orderly manner. Unsightly or inappropriate camping gear is not permitted. Garbage should be taken to the closest receptacle.

2 Fees/Rental Contact site for current camping rates. *Groups by special arrangement *Check out time is 3:00 Registration fees include park admission for four campers. Additional persons will be charged at the appropriate daily site admission rate. Campers who have paid for a camping site may place up to two additional tents on the same site for an additional fee. Group rates for organized and recognized groups of tent campers are available. o These rates apply only to areas designated by staff as group camping areas. o The primary group camping sites are #20 & #39. o Rates apply only to groups that have registered in advance. o Anyone associated with the group but wanting and individual site is subject to regular rates.

3 Hours The Campground is open until 9:00 Campers are provided with information allowing 24 hour access. The Visitors' Center is open from 8-5 daily. Non-Camping Visitors Family reunions and large gatherings at a single site are not allowed. Arrangements for use of the site pavilion should be made. No more than six non-camping visitors are allowed to visit at a time. All visitors are subject to all park Rules , Regulations , admission policies and charges. Close attention must be given to the Regulations regarding parking. Cleanliness Camping sites are to be kept in a neat and orderly manner. Unsightly or inappropriate camping gear is not permitted.

4 Garbage should be taken to the closest receptacle. Grey water should not be dumped. A dump station is located at the traffic island near the entrance to the Campground loop. Length of Stay RV/Trailer campers may stay in the park for two consecutive weeks. Tent campers may stay for up to one week, payment made in advance. Visitors must show valid identification including, drivers license, and motor vehicle tags. Campers must register a motor vehicle. Number of Vehicles The number of vehicles per site is limited to the number that may fit on the paving. If there is not enough room on the paved pad, the parking lot in front of the bath house should be used for the overflow.

5 Empty pads should not be used for parking. Do not park on the grass. Go-Cars/ATVs Bikes are not allowed on the nature trails. Golf Carts are allowed in the park. However, ATVs of any kind are not permitted. Campfires & Firewood Fires should only be built in the fire rings provided or the BBQ grills. A large fire ring is located in the center of the Campground that is available on a first come basis. Dead fall may be used as firewood in the Campground when it is available. Firewood stored at other locations in the park is used in the park for living history programs and is not to be taken for Campground use. Cutting of trees and bushes is forbidden.

6 Quiet Time No loud noise music is allowed at any hour. In addition, quiet time begins at 9:00 and ends at 7:00 Operation of vehicles should be kept at a minimum. Movement in others areas of the park are not permitted after dark. Bath House The bath house is to be used for registered campers only. Hot water showers and flush toilets are available. Please help us keep the facility clean and neat. Please contact staff if the facility needs attention. Front Gate The front gate is closed and locked to the public at 9 pm. Any unregistered guests must vacate at this time or be charged the appropriate standard camping fee. The gate will remain locked until 6 AM.

7 Special arrangements can be made under special circumstances. Contact the Visitors' Center if this will be necessary in advance. NOTE: This is a Campground and not a permanent residence.
