2 Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an un- conscious IN EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the fi rst 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment ON SKIN Take off contaminated CLOTHING: Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes.

4 Narcotics and other sedatives should not be used. Further, drugs like 2-PAM (pyridine-2-aldoxime methiodide) are NOT recommended. See NOTE TO TO PHYSICIANT reat symptomatically. Overexposure to materials other than this product may have occured. CARBARYL is an N-methyl carbamate INSECTICIDE , which is a cho-linesterase inhibitor. Overexposure to this substance may cause toxic signs and symptoms due to stimulation of the cholinergic nervous system. These effects of overexposure are spontane-ously and rapidly reversible. Gastric lavage may be used if this product has been swallowed. CARBARYL poisoning may occur rapidly after ingestion and prompt removal of stomach contents is c treatment consists of parenteral atropine sulfate.
5 Caution should be maintained to prevent over atropinization. Improve tissue oxygenation as much as possible before administering atropine to minimize the risk of ventricular fi brillation. Mild cases may be given 1 to 2 mg intramuscularly every 10 minutes until full atropinization has been achieved and repeated thereafter when-ever symptoms reappear. Severe cases should be given 2 to 4 mg intravenously every 10 minutes until fully atropinized, then intramuscularly every 30 to 60 minutes as needed to maintain the effect for at least 12 hours. Dosages for children should be ap-propriately reduced. Complete recovery from overexposure is to be expected within 24 and other sedatives should not be used.

7 IN SEVERE CASES CONVULSION, UNCONSCIOUSNESS AND RESPIRATORY FAIL-URE MAY OCCUR. SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OCCUR RAPIDLY FOLLOWING OVEREXPOSURE TO THIS PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Applicators and other handlers must wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants, waterproof gloves, shoes plus socks, and chemical-resistant headgear for overhead clothing or other absorbent materials that have been drenched or heavily contaminated with this product s concen-trate. Do not reuse them. Follow manufacturer s instructions for cleaning and maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). If no such instructions for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in a manner that meets the requirements listed in the Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides [40 CFR (d) (4-6)], the handler PPE requirements may be re-duced or modifi ed as specifi ed in the Safety RecommendationsUsers should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.

For terrestrial uses, do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Do not apply when weather conditions favor drift from area treated. Do not contaminate water by cleaning equipment or disposal of wastes. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment CAUTION: MAY KILL HONEYBEES IN SUBSTANTIAL product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treat-ment or residues on blooming crops or weeds. 10 This Standard contains requirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and green-houses, and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notifi cation, and emergency assistance. It also contains specifi c instructions and exceptions pertaining to the statements on this Label about personal protective equipment (PPE) and restricted-entry interval.
