2 Your Competition Number will be published on the entry list on the website on Thursday 5th July 2018, and is also shown at Annex B which lists scrutiny times If there are any changes to your entry please e-mail these as soon as possible to FINAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. RECONNAISSANCE Reconnaissance is permitted on one of the following days: Saturday 14th July 2018 Sunday 15th July 2018 Friday 20th July 2018 Reconnaissance is only permitted between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 on the above dates.

3 Any competitor (driver or co-driver) found to be carrying out Reconnaissance on any date or time outside of the above permitted times without written permission from the Clerk of the Course will be penalised in accordance with the Event Supplementary Regulations. Crews should ensure they comply with the Supplementary Regulations paragraphs applying to Reconnaissance (Paras ) Reconnaissance Sign-On will take place between the hours of 08:00 and 11:00 on each of the above 3 dates, at the Eikon Centre, Balmoral Park, Halftown Road, LISBURN BT27 5RF GPS N54 29 W006 06 (See map at Annex A) Judges of Fact will be present on all stages throughout the scheduled Reconnaissance times to observe driving standards.

4 A list of named Judges of Fact will be displayed on the Event Official Notice Board. 2. DOCUMENTATION AND SIGNING ON THE FOLLOWING MUST BE PRODUCED AT SIGNING ON.. A Reconnaissance Authorisation Card MSA or MI Competition licence of the appropriate grade for both crew members (or equivalent national licence for crews competing from outside the UK and Ireland. Valid Club membership cards of an ANICC / MI recognised Motor Club. Ballynahinch and District MC and Rathfriland MC Club Membership will both be available at signing on at a cost of 10 each.)

5 Drivers Road Licence. Insurance cover note (if not using the JELF Scheme) Deposit form for Tracker device The deposit form is at Annex C to these instructions - Copies of this will be available at sign-on. The tracker deposit can be by means of either a debit or credit card. These forms will be destroyed at the end of the event once the tracker is returned. Any outstanding monies. 6 A fee of will be levied on the competitor if the Steward permits the competitor to start the event.. The RTA Insurance Cover Note for the Event is being provided by JELF Insurance Partnership. The basic fee (before loading) is 19. Competitors who have not used JELF before are referred to the Supplementary Regulations for this event. Any driver with a loading letter will be required to pay the additional fee at Documentation 3. NOISE TEST & MECHANICAL SCRUTINEERING. Mechanical scrutiny will be between the hours of 15:00hrs & 21:00hrs on Friday 20th July at the Eikon Centre, Lisburn.

7 Individual times for Scrutiny are attached at Annex B. There will be no Scrutineering outside of these dates and times. The Scrutiny location can be found on the attached map at Annex A. All cars must be presented for Scrutiny at the appointed location. Please follow marshal s instructions when you enter the service area. There is a separate trailer park beside the service area. Under no circumstances are trailers permitted in the service area. All competing cars must be taken to Park Ferme as soon as they have passed Scrutineering.

8 THE FOLLOWING MUST BE PRODUCED TO THE SCRUTINEER. An MSA or MI Rally Car Log book, or for overseas competitors outside the UK and Ireland a FIA passport Homologation papers (if applicable.) Letter requesting to use in-car camera (if applicable) An SOS/OK board. All cars must have all decals attached before presenting the car for scrutiny. Crews should pick up sets of decals at sign-on if this is not possible they should advise the sign-on team of the name of the team member who will be collecting their decals from Rally office.

9 All cars presented for scrutiny must be fuelled sufficiently to complete the first loop of stages on the Saturday morning. There is no opportunity to refuel between leaving parc ferme and the start of the event. Any competitor proposing to use an in-car camera at any time during the event must advise the Clerk of the Course and the Event Scrutineer in writing of their intentions and produce the notification (bearing your name and competition number) at Scrutineering. The camera installation must be completed before the car is presented to the Scrutineer, and the installation must comply with current Health & Safety Regulations.

10 (In car camera notification forms are available from the event Scrutineer and can also be downloaded from Competitors must present all necessary documentation at Mechanical Scrutiny relating to the eligibility of their vehicles. Competitors who wish to use auxiliary lighting if the weather and lighting conditions deteriorate during the event must have any lights fitted for presentation at Scrutiny. As scrutiny takes place after crews have signed on, the passed scrutiny sheets will be retained by scrutineers and forwarded to Rally office on completion of scrutiny.)
