1 CASH VALVE A SERIESPRESSURE REGULATORSCAVMC-0508-US-1212 Copyright 2012 seated and self-actuating compact REGULATORS covering a wide range of designs and operating Sizes: Available in 1/4" or 3/8" Body styles:- Two-way VALVE with one female inletand opposite female Three-way VALVE with one female inletand opposite female outlet plus aleft-hand side 1/4" NPTF : Gauge connection designationis in relation to main VALVE inlet withvalve in upright position. All brass body with inbuilt strainer. Easily renewable disc-piston assembly. Screwed in cylinder body seat providesfor easy removal. Self contained strainer protectsworking and A-315 Types A-31 and A-31S pressureregulating valves are available in 1/8",1/4" and 3/8" sizes and in variousoptional body styles. They may be fittedwith several different types of pressureadjustment screws.

2 Body styles:- Type A-31: Two-way VALVE with onefemale inlet and opposite Type A-31S: Three-way VALVE with onefemale inlet and opposite femaleoutlet plus either a left or right-handside 1/4" NPTF gauge : Gauge connection designationsare in relation to main VALVE inlet withvalve in the upright position. A-360 through A-365 Types A-360 through A-365 pressureregulating valves incorporate manyunique features which enable them tobe adapted to most any system. Body styles:- Type A-360 and A-365 Two-wayvalve with one female inlet andopposite female Type A-361 Adaptable for three-wayor four-way A SERIES PRESSURE reducing andregulating valves automatically reduce ahigh initial PRESSURE to a lower deliverypressure, and maintain that lowerpressure, depending on the specificdesign selected, within reasonably closelimits.

3 All A SERIES valves are singleseated, self-actuating, diaphragm typeregulators. They are available in a widerange of designs and operating pressureranges for a variety of applications with water, air, oil, gases, or other non-corrosive fluids as may berecommended for a specific design. They are designedfor initial pressures up to 250 psi anddelivery pressures ranging from 2 to 180psi depending on the spring used.

For example, turning theadjusting screw clockwise forces theadjusting spring to act against thediaphragm assembly and move theinternal VALVE seat to the open high inlet PRESSURE is applied, itflows into the regulator, through the openseat, up under the diaphragm and onthrough the outlet.

7 The standardadjustment range is from 2 to 180 psi.(See Spring Range Chart underSpecifications.) The maximum operatingtemperature is 180 F. For highertemperature installations consult yoursales representative for A-31 and A-31S are for use onwater and air, suitable for drinkingfountains, bubblers, water coolers,humidifiers, beer pumps, beveragedispensers, spray paint outfits, air tools,etc. They are suitable also for otherliquids and gases if recommended by the factory; write, giving full details forspecific A-31HC is specifically designed for mobile home or recreational vehiclewater systems. Refer to Special Designsfor additional A-31 and A-31S PRESSURE regulatingvalves are available in 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8"sizes and in various optional body may be fitted with several differenttypes of PRESSURE adjustment screws.
