The mix ratio is approximately 75% by weight cement, 25% by weight can be purchased separately or as a package (3kg cement to 1kg binder).The two should be mixed together to a consistency similar to honey and then applied to the outer surface of the Ceramic tube. The mix can also be applied to the ID of the holding tube (generally Stainless Steel) and the Ceramic tube inserted.
3 For best results mild heat can be applied to the holding tube to dry the mix. The cement becomes hard and ready to use as soon as it dries. Drying can be done as fast as 30 fibre can be tied onto the Ceramic tube before fixing onto the metallic tube prior to sealing with cement.
