(4) (b) 1., Stats., Register December 2011 No. I ScopeSPS The provisions of this Chapter shallapply to the design, installation and construction of all heating,ventilating and air conditioning systems in dwellings covered bythis : Cr. Register, November, 1979, No. 287, eff. 6 1 II DesignSPS Every dwelling shall be equippedwith a heating system designed in accordance with this equipment requirements may be waived for recreationaldwellings used only during the non heating season.

3 Where acooling system is provided, the cooling requirements of this sec-tion shall be met.(1)HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM DESIGN. (a) The heatingand cooling systems shall be designed to maintain the indoordesign temperature at outdoor design conditions.(b) When requested, room by room heat loss and heat gaincalculations shall be : See Appendix for outdoor design temperature map.(2)DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS. Distribution systems shall besized and located to satisfy the heating and cooling loads of eachconditioned space. 4 (3)VENTILATION. (a) General. 1.
